I am an indie author of science fiction, and I don't know where to go from here. The thing is, I am at the age where I haven't yet set up a bank account. I wrote my novel all throughout high school, and I'm working on a second novel that will be a redemption story of one of the characters in the first novel.

Forgive me, please, if the answer lies in the article, but should I get a lawyer to protect the rights to my book before I hire an editor to work with my book’s grammar?
