About Rebecca Gibbs

Rebecca Gibbs is a primary school teacher, designer, writer and illustrator. She studied at CPIT in NZ and currently lives in Christchurch. She is an animal advocate, vegan and has Alopecia Universalis (full hair loss).

Rebecca has contributed to various charitable organisations through providing artwork, design services, and children's books.

Her newest book, in conjunction with the New Zealand AntiVivisection Society, has been reviewed by Dr Jane Goodall and is garnering praise for its story, values and illustrations.

Whilst being known for her illustration and design work, her Political Murals and editorial cartoons have featured in publications in New Zealand. Her latest design work for Porshe can be seen in large murals on the corner of Tuam and Antiqua Street in Post-Quake Christchurch.
