About Queenie Shaikh

Queenie Shaikh is a proud Pakistani expat residing in London. Journalist by day and a perpetual nomad all other times, she’s an aspiring author often found scribbling furiously in her notebook on the steps of the National Art Gallery at Trafalgar Square. Her achievements include getting published in several magazines as well as digital publications, and, proudly wearing the title of being a sarcastic queen amongst many other things. A (poor) Londoner through and through, her book - The Poor Londoner - is a series of poems based on first hand experiences of moving to her favourite city, and also, by observing many of her friends.
