About Nadege Nicoll

Nadege Nicoll was born in France but now lives permanently in New Jersey with her family. She stopped working in the corporate world to raise her three children and multiple pets, thus secretly gathering material for her books. She writes humorous fiction for kids aged 8 to 12, that shows the kids' points of views on various topics. Her series, "Living With Grown-Ups" is about how kids look at their parents' behavior: how inconsistent, sometimes unfair, often loopy adults can be.

In 2017, Nadege published a book on the refugee crisis, seen from the perspective of kids. Although it deals with a very serious topic, it's written with a lot of humor. In a world where apathy and indifference seem to have settled in, this book is a reminder to accept one another, and bring our empathy back to the surface.
