Jamie Sandberg is an artist, freelance writer, and ecologist living in the Pacific Northwest. She received her degree from Huxley College of the Environment and has gone on to work for several non-profit and environmental agencies. Her career began with writing for wolf recovery in Washington State. “Wapiti and the Western Wolf” is a thesis on her scientific writing on predator: prey interactions in the west. Her creative writing is presented in the form of independently published poetry collections written under a nom de plum. She continues to speak and perform across the United States.
