About Bill Krupinski

Wm. J. “Bill” Krupinski

Bill Krupinski started drawing when he first crawled onto a roll of shelf paper with a crayon clutched in his sticky little hand. He hasn’t stopped since.

While still in high school, Bill had his first illustrations and cartoons commercially published. Securing poster work in the music industry led to ad work in the Alternative press. After a period on the art show circuit with his etched glass, Bill shifted to the screen-printing industry for several years. Learning the arcane secrets of the pre-computer sign trade, Bill ran his own sign shop for 20 years. He has a degree in Marketing from Madison College.

Multifaceted, Bill is adept in several genres of illustration, graphic art & design, letter font design, and is a published editorial cartoonist, author and graphic novelist.

His works hang in private collections, and have been shown in galleries in California, Oregon and throughout the Mid-West. His art has graced the offices of the Lieutenant Governor in his home state of Wisconsin. The contribution of Bill’s artwork in support of environmental issues has been widely recognized.

Prolific, thoughtful artist, and “The People’s Cartoonist” all describe Wm. J. Krupinski, the diligent, forward-thinking creative juggernaut whose friends simply call him Bill.
