About Gail Susan Kibby-White

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio in June, 1935. I'm divorced with two grown children. I moved to the Tampa Bay area in Florida with my children in October, 1975.

Most of my adult life I've worked as a secretary, executive secretary, executive assistant and in middle management. I've done transcription work since June, 1953 after high school graduation. I graduated from St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg with a degree in Accounting and Finance in May, 1986 with honors after nine years of night college.

I took early retirement from my position as Assistant to the President United Bank of Pinellas in St. Petersburg, FL in June, 1998 to form my own secretarial service working out of my home. My company, Tailored PC Documents, provided transcription and various other remote secretarial services in addition to manuscript formatting and uploading to publishers all over the U.S. and England via email and cloud sites.

In 2014, at the recommendation of some of my customers and my family, I ceased accepting new customers and began writing mystery/suspense/thriller novels. As a "newbie" I purchased and studied many books on Point of View, Structure, Dialogue, Descriptions and other authoring issues. I've also downloaded and read many very helpful articles from BookWorks.

As of November, 2018, I am still in business with two regular customers. I joined and completed writing one story in the November Novel Writing event in 2017. I use Grammarly and two other programs for editing. I feel I've come a long way in the past four years, and still have a lot to learn before I'm a polished author.

I also plan to write and publish several How to books on "How to Establish, Run, and Build a $ucce$$ful Secretarial Service From Home" and "Dictation Transcription Tips, Tricks, Secrets, and Shortcuts".

I hope to publish my future novels first as an ebook to see how they are received. If they sell I would like to publish them as printed editions.
