As a Certified Coach, Teacher, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team, Crystal brings an “others-centered” approach to helping leaders create new conversations to achieve organizational goals, inspire meaningful change, and to create a leading with values culture.

Using Servant Leadership as a guide, clients define and refine their strategic goals and increase their impact as authentic leaders, building trust, awareness and a meaningful contribution that ultimately drive bottom line results.

From working with leaders to working with teams and individuals, Crystal helps people to envision the future of their organization, coaches them to harness the skills needed to think future-forward and provide curricula, tools, and frameworks that create high performing teams. Crystal considers the comprehensive scope of an organization and its people.

Crystal is a research affiliate with the Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion with the University of Phoenix. She has been a global citizen since her teenage years experiencing Germany, Switzerland, France, Amsterdam, and London as a foreign exchange student in the 1980’s.

Crystal is the author of three books, Leading from Within: The Spirituality of Servant Leadership (2014), Servant Leadership and Followership: Examining the Impact on Workplace Behavior (2017), and Bloom Where You Are Planted: Reflections on Servant Leadership (2018). Crystal’s research interests are in the areas of servant leadership, organizational development and culture, change management, and diversity in management.


Crystal holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications (Kansas State University), an MHR in Human Relations (University of Oklahoma), and a Doctorate in Management specializing in Organizational Leadership (University of Phoenix.)
