About Toneal M. Jackson

International Award-Winning Author and Entrepreneur, Toneal M. Jackson is well versed on a variety of topics. She has written children’s books, as well as those on relationships, effective communication techniques, and books geared to inspire.

She ranked #3 as National Black Book Festival’s 2011 Best New Author. In 2012, CBS Chicago recognized her as one of "5 Indie Chicago Authors and Publishers to Watch Out For". Toneal was also the Silver Medal recipient of the 2013 Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards.

In that same year she established her organization, Authors Promoting Success, where she specializes in assisting independent authors gain exposure and success in the literary industry. Included in this conglomerate is her imprint, APS Publishing; APS Writers Society; APS Books & More, her bookstore that she opened in May 2015 inside of Chicago's Ford City Mall; and APS Radio, which airs on the Step North Network.

In 2015, goshorty.net named Toneal one of "18 Most Powerful Women on the South Side" [of Chicago]. She received her Bachelors degree from DePaul University, and her Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
