No power is greater than the one you’re willing to sacrifice.
Princess Violetta Flame lives her life according to rule, but those rules require her to pay a heavy price. Haunted by a devastating loss, she longs for freedom. When a handsome ruler takes a special interest in her, she senses greater things lie ahead, but behind the handsome façade lies a dark secret – one that can usurp her efforts and cast her back into the life she detested.
The throne was never promised to Emperor Ryore Frost, but now that he has ultimate power, his world is filled with possibilities. Citizens bow at his feet, but their fleeting adoration is no match for his obsession with the young Flame Princess. As his feelings for the staunchly independent princess grow, a new threat emerges, bent on undermining his efforts and betraying his sensibilities.
When past tragedies, malevolent behaviour, and strong wills collide, which will reign supreme?

In Phoenix by Daccari Buchelli there’s plenty of action, lots of mythical and magical twists and turns. The setting occurs in Peradon, a once united land of religious faith with four ruling families. Somewhere in the plot a division takes place, creating the Earth Realm, the Flame Realm, the Frost Realm and the Air Realm. Each realm takes on a life of its own. One has to read the book to understand the diabolical differences in the people and world of each realm. I found the Frost and Flame Realms to be the most fascinating. If you want to read about a ruthless father, let me introduce you to Emperor Jugan who used his powers for evil versus good. The main character, Violetta, is torn between two handsome, on edge, sexy gentlemen, bringing the love angle into this mythical journey.
I generally do not read a 397- page novel, but this fantasy had enough suspense that kept me turning the pages. The poem at the beginning of the book - “Lady Arsonist” by Alex Scrine - lends a nice touch, stimulating the curiosity of content. Each of the 29 chapters tells a story that draws the reader into the role of the character. Each scene is riveting, with descriptive and vivid language. I had to read the entire book to bridge the title with the content, which keeps the reader engaged, wanting to find answers. Although a fantasy novel, it introduces into the plot a strong love story of evil versus kindness. Each character has the power to manipulate some aspects of the seasons, something which I think takes a remarkable mind to craft this story.

Born in 1993, British writer Daccari Buchelli spends his time focusing on his favourite genre, Fantasy. Having developed an early love of literature, Mr Buchelli became determined to create his own magical wonderlands for fellow readers to explore. His present Fantasy series revolves around young royals and the elemental magic that they possess. He spent his teenage years working on several Fantasy novellas, which he has yet to release to the general public. He intends to edit and polish such pieces, before he plans to release them in the coming few years, either as stand-alone works, or as a collection of short fiction.
Diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome in his early twenties helped Buchelli to come to understand why he had always been different and felt it difficult to identify with his school peers. He often felt lonely until he picked up a book and began to read. Buchelli struggles to venture outside for more than a few hours at a time due to the common co-occurrence of Sensory Processing Disorder. While a drawback at times, Buchelli seeks to use this to his advantage by creating intricate visuals throughout his work.
Buchelli draws his inspiration from various sources, his main one being dreams. From a young age, Mr Buchelli has developed the unique skill of being a lucid dreamer, whereby he can control significant aspects of his dream worlds while sound asleep. Such an example comes with his fear of the movie ghouls, zombies. He has since perfected his ability to escape such creatures within his dreams by any means necessary, one quirky way in being able to regenerate the powers of movie hero Spider Man, and gliding through the air attaching webs to buildings. No longer does Mr Buchelli suffer the terrifying nightmares he did as a child.
As an active member of the LGBT+ community, Mr Buchelli hopes to help reduce intolerance and bullying by promoting acceptance and understanding of those different to ourselves. Baptized a Mormon Christian at age eight, he has since left the faith of his family and considers himself to be a loyal member of the Pagan faith. With a strong love of nature, this transition felt natural and couples with another transition that he is currently experiencing in his life.
Although a lot of misunderstandings and stigma arise with the subject of Transgenderism, Buchelli himself was 'born in the wrong body,' so to speak. He believes the phenomenon to be caused by crucial hormonal imbalances within the womb prior to the time a baby's secondary sex characteristics evolve. Mr Buchelli is currently receiving hormonal replacement therapy, to ensure that he can spend the rest of his life as his true self; free to be the eccentric, book-loving man that he is.
