This book is a journal of the life-long lessons learned from my Cherokee Elders and the teaching of other Tribal Elders from the Sioux, Crow, Choctaw, Ojibwa, Cheyenne, and Navajo People.
"My Path Through the Wisdom of the Elders" is a book based on the teachings and lessons handed down fro generation to generation, and seeking Wisdom and Knowledge from the Elders and learning to apply them to our lives. R. Vance "Little-Hawk" Oliver has two other books entitled, "In The Sanctity Of My Dreams" and "A Time To Heal" that help to reveal the depth of a man's heart and soul. If we seek inner peace and self-healing of our spirits and our hearts, we can restore our Sacred Space and Broken relationships. We can accomplish a common goal of bringing peace and joy in our lives, by allowing the healing to take place through the lessons that we have learned.
---From the Author---; I Believe that truth and wisdom are found in every path that we take in our journey through this life as we walk this earth. The tools that come from all walks of life, are vital sources of personal progress. If the teaching of our Elders have opened your eyes to the reality of this world, and if my poems have touched your heart, and have helped you to gain perspective in dealing with the healing of your past, I am truly grateful. Thank You.
