With colorful images and full-color photographs, Mojica explores what you can discover about the famous Intrepid. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about United States history, naval history and more. The simplicity of how Barbara Ann Mojica shares the information makes it easy to go back and pick out different pieces to research further. This is not a book to read through quickly and stick on a shelf. Even more exciting is the realization that Little Miss HISTORY is a series, so there are other books to explore.

She also spent several years as a Special Education Administrator and principal of a special education preschool for developmentally delayed children. Barbara, although retired from teaching, is staying busy : along with her series of Little Miss HISTORY travel books she writes historical pieces for The Columbia Insider, under the banner "Passages." Marrying her love of history and teaching, Barbara hopes her Little Miss HISTORY character will inspire children to learn about historical people and places, and then be inspired to go out and visit these historical landmarks.
